Inverter and TV
Hi guys! Why does my on board inverter fail to allow my tv to turn on? New rv. Dealership told me it should so we can use the tv while driving without using the generator. Any suggestion?

Our TV is also out of view of the driver, but when the key is in the ignition, the TV does not power on. There is an extra wire in the outlet that keeps power from getting to the outlet when the key is in the ignition.
Recently, our inverter stopped powering that outlet, but after further investigation it turned out the outlet stopped working altogether. Using a little plug in tester, it showed an Open Hot.
Being under warranty, I'd take it back and let the dealer deal with it. If the outlet works on shore power, but not on the inverter then something is either not wired properly or the inverter is not working.
