So....if I am not plugged in and not running the generator BUT the inverter is set to "auto" I still might not see power at every outlet, correct?
You are correct - chances are the inverter output is only wired to some of your outlets. I have a Tripp-Lite setup just like this one by the way. I have to remember to turn my fridge to GAS instead of AUTO when my inverter is running the coach off batteries, as the fridge draws a lot of current.
