The OP has an Inverter/Charger. BAD batteries will indeed cause your problem. Even more so, IF the battery water is extremely low or boiled dry. Have you checked the Level of the water in the batteries? NEVER, NEVER, run an Inverter/Charger without batteries connected. You cannot run an Inverter/Charger with batteries disconnected like you can with a CONVERTER. Doug
