I appreciate all the fast yet thoughtful input. In all cases the stains are more subtle that downtheroad's photo, but even smaller, lighter stains worried me. When I looked carefully, most coaches in my price range had ceiling stains...maybe the ones without any sign of water intrusion sold, leaving mostly coaches with stains on the lot.
