All of the above and might add, that the newer a coach is, the faster it depreciates and where the real cost of ownership lies. Best way to combat that, is to drive it more, so that your cost per mile won't be so great.
Either way and no matter how you shake it, the RV lifestyle ain't cheap and certainly not for everyone.
However, as for the cost of travel and after 3 or 4 months on the road, I find it much cheaper than traveling in an economy car.
The cost, upkeep and depreciation on the unit itself, can be chalked off to a hobby.
