We don't drive cars as we like to go off-road to check out the area where we stay. We started with a small 4x4 pickup then traded for a Jeep Rubicon. It takes less than one minute to hook or unhook. When I had back surgery my wife did it by herself in the same amount of time. If it is raining my wife holds the big umbrella while I do the hookup.
I have not owned a dolly but I have have used one and after that would not owned one. It took at least 15 minutes to load the vehicle and tie it down. I had to get down on my knees to hook the straps. If it would have been raining or muddy it would have been even worst.
Just my opinion-to each his own.
