Wouldn't those truckers keep better time if they just dump the can out the window while still haulin' down the highway, then there would be no need to stop at all?
That happens a lot also.
Commonly called trucker bombs, by the crews that mow and many more in the know.

They use antifreeze bottles, common, so they don't have to stop for nature stops.
The ditches are littered with antifreeze bottles, gallon bottles, soda bottles, etc... with yellow substances.
Suspect, the discharge of their bottle at a rest stop, is to save the bottle and recycle the container.
I use to help manage a over the road trucking company, unfortunately this is a common practice (not by all, but by many).
