Is the engine dying a serious issue in a '94 Damon Intruder?

Do the Seafoam, but buy a second fuel filter and change it AGAIN after a couple hundred miles.

I forgot to do the second change and it cost me $1500 for new fuel pump, cleaning the injectors, and hotel. On the plus side, I got 25mpg after all that.

For future reference and readers of the thread: When looking at a used rig with an apparently simple problem, I ask the seller if I can fix the thing we think is the problem BEFORE purchasing. That way we see if it really is that easy.
