is there a class C that is small enough to not need a toad ?
We are thinking of many options, a motorhome, fifth wheel, etc but is there a small enough mh with slide outs that we could still drive around w/o a toad easy ?

Probably will depend on what size you are comfortable living in and still being able to run to the grocery store or out to eat with assurances of finding a parking place. :) It's a trade off and you're the only one who knows your preferences.
