Take I-75 to I-71 to I-65 to I-20 to I-10. Using bypass routes around larger towns. If you want to do something different take Natchez Trace from near Nashville to I-20. Nice park ride at 50 mph.midnightsadie wrote:

This is the reverse of a question discussed just a week or so ago.
The consensus is:
If you want to absolutely minimize the odds of having bad/freezing weather, head south as directly as you can (I-55 or 57 probably better than 75 because of fewer mountains) and then go west on I-10.
