Is this a proper way to hang my flag for the 4th of July?

That just makes it a 'routine' which lacks any respect or meaning in the Raising and Lowering of our FLAG.

Yep. Did you notice the person who walked by and paid no attention to the lowering flag?

I would rather see a light on the flag and have it fly all night.

It doesn't take much to have it go wrong, flag torn or stuck with the flag partially unfurled. And no one would notice.
