Since I can't see any damage to the Ready-Brake, it looks like the hitch pin that holds it to your receiver came out and allowed the Ready-Brake to come loose.
The insurance company is going to want to know the cause so that they can try to recover their loss if it was someone's fault or if a piece of equipment failed. If they come to the conclusion that it was your fault, I am not sure what your insurance company will do about future service. They will probably repair the damage, after you pay your deductible but they may try to consider it two incidents and double your deductible.
