Have someone operate the switch while you stand outside and listen for the pulsing of the ignitor? In mine, the electric connection on the gas solenoid valve is loose. So the ignitor pulses but the heater doesn't turn on. I can get it to work once on site, but I need to either permanently fix what's there or replace the solenoid.
