As a new member you may not know Chris Bryant. He owns an RV shop and is a great friend of this forum. On his webpage Chris has Troubleshooting and Service Documents. You may be able to find a service manual and help running down the problem.There are a couple water heater threads going on right now in Tech Issues.
Even if two brands (Atwood and Suburban are the popular ones) function about the same way, they have different quirks and weaknesses. So it helps if you post Year, Make, Model of any component. If it's an ONAN generator, they guys need at least Model and Spec Code.
