There are times when a search may bring up some results, but other times, it is good to read opinions by other people about a topic. Even if they are just opinions, they came from somewhere.
The one nice thing about RV.net compared to a lot of other places is that the shilling (someone posting for a company touting their products) is fairly rare. Other places, someone posts something bellyaching about a product, and you get a bunch of accounts (whom only post when a product or company is mentioned) replying with various levels of flaming because the account owner is likely paid to defend/advertise said company/product.
I wish this forum had a "like" or "thanks" button because there are some people who are quite outstanding and even if I disagree with them, they have very intelligent writing.
