Did you do the which tank test I outlined to do????? Are you POSITIVE it is a Black tank odor? One thing that can happen is, the down flange pipe to the top of the black tank can break loose. That will allow the debris to go in the tank, but odors will escape past this break. The only way to check is to pull the toilet and remove the down flange/pipe. Also, some RV's do NOT have a threaded pipe going in the top of the black tank. They have a rubber slip ring and if that rubber has deteriorated he 3 inch down pipe will not be vapor sealed. Last, NEVER TAKE ADVICE FROM A PARTS PERSON, what would they know? Doug
