I spray my POWERGEAR jack (chrome rams and the springs) with silicone around 3 times a year. During winter storage I leave them retracted. As far as the tires go, I have them on wood...and take the motorhome for a 30 mile ride usually once a month if I can. If not....no harm done. Any "flat spots" are taken care of when the tires get warm (hot) from being run.
Dealer told me NOT to leave them down especially during winter storage as upon retraction they will destroy the hydraulic wipers and such inside. He also told me of a customer that could not retract his jacks after quite a long time....maybe a year....because the rams were completely rusted and COULD not retract to due the rust. 4 new jacks.
I vote: leave them up!
