Is the unit supposed to lose all settings and return to "defaults" on power loss? Is the default for Weather Alert ON?
When I found the house batteries dead today and applied my charger, the radio came on showing a FM station frequency of something like 87.0 (no station). When I hit the power button on the radio it turned off and went to the time display. This is not what I had programmed it for. I had set it for a blank display when 'OFF'. That is how I know it reset the settings.
