You have bought a motorhome that was built before Coachmen acquired Georgie Boy and made it a part of their mid-level rigs.  My experience is that the Coachmen division of Forest River still provides support information about the components and accessories.  
The dual thermostats control the forward and rear A/C units. My old rig includes ducted heat as well.
I'd recommend that you have the rig weighed as soon as you get a chance and see where you are with axle weight. My first roll over the CAT scales was an eye-opener for me. Those 16" tires are the weak point in the chassis.
I suspect you have a native 30-amp power supply. You might want to look into how the 110v system distributes the power, as my old coach has GFI receptacles that can interrupt downstream power. I also did some modifications that allow me to use both roof A/C units on shore power.
Good luck with your new rig. That design survived in that particular configuration for a long time because it worked.
