- we enjoyed the 229th 4th of July parade in Bristol, Rhode Island on TV. It was raining hard outside.

Today is my day to work a holiday. I guess it is a lot better than working Christmas or some other holiday. I work in a retirement center, and we can not all take the day off, someone has to be there to feed and care for the residents.
Hopefully it will be a easy day, with no fire alarms going off!
Likely someone will burn some toast, and I will have to figure out how to shut off the fire alarm system before the big red trucks start showing up! LOL We normally get 3-5 fire detectors going off each month, so my guess is why not today when I am all alone at work.

Lets see. On July Fourth. Bells going off,sirens and flashing lights Fireman marching through the halls. Not so sure this isn't on purpose. :B- Be sure to say a prayer for all those battling weather on the East coast. Hopefully those traveling with RVs headed out before the storm arrived.
