The bathroom light may get power from the starting battery. Disconnect starting battery and see if bathroom light goes out.
Sorry, I wasn't clear. This is while hooked up to shore power. Light does not go on while shore is disconnected. I am just curious as to if the bathroom light is A/C (Same light style as the others, so my guess would be D/C) or that the "master switch" only shuts off the ceiling lights but keeps the rest of the power running. The master switch does NOT turn off the A/C outlets. My guess was that the switch shut all the D/C off (to conserve battery), but I may be mistaken. Again, just not sure how RVs work entirely.
You indicated that you need a new house battery. Does that mean that your house battery isn't working at all?
Your lights are most likely DC. There are two ways to get power for the lights:
1. Battery only. If you are not hooked up to shore power, then your lights are pulling from the battery directly. If your battery cannot hold a charge, then you won't have any power going to anything when unplugged to shore power.
2. Shore power. If you are hooked up to shore power, then your lights are pulling from the converter which is converting the 120AC power into 12v DC power. Your converter needs a battery to "store" the converted power for use, but the battery doesn't need to be able to hold a charge because the converter is running the charge continuously through the battery.
Usually a master switch to disconnect the battery power is located near the battery, not in the house. And many older RVs don't have a disconnect (they weren't added standard).
I suspect your light switch is simply a "ceiling light" switch. The switch was probably added by a previous owner so they didn't have to switch each ceiling light independently to light up the main area in the RV - they wouldn't have connected the bathroom light to that switch because the bathroom light would only be turned on if someone needs to use the bathroom. And they wouldn't have connected the outlets because they would want to use the outlets during the day when they don't need the ceiling lights turned on.
