- Passin_ThruExplorerNot sure if Dallas Toll Rd takes EZ Pass either. I know it's called the T or Dallas North Tollway.
- Passin_ThruExplorerSpeed limit is 65 on 2 lane rural. I wouldn't get on the toll rd.
- GoldencrazyExplorerThanx. Next time. Overnight at Western Star. Basic and easy in and out.
- RLS7201Explorer IIIf you take I35 South to Emporia and then US 50 West to Kansas SR 61 (just a few miles west of Hutchinson, KS) south to US 54 to Liberal, you will encounter no tolls. This route has very good 2 lane roads. The over the road trucks travel this route, as it's the straight line from KC to Liberal.
I run this route from Kansas City to Liberal and beyond, every December.
Also, there are free places to over-night along 54 in SW Kansas and Oklahoma. Details up on request.
Richard - doxiemom11Explorer IIWe will go out of our way to avoid toll roads. Usually much better scenery too.
- GoldencrazyExplorerTook I-35 to Wichita. One 10 buck tolll. Then on to 400/54. The construction required U turn which was tricky but other than that very easy. Of course Saturday morning helped through KC. Thanks to all for advice.
- BlutoyzExplorerI thought EZpass worked all over the country
- Tyler0215ExplorerFrom KC I35 W to US 50 W to US 83 S to Liberal. No tolls.
- GoldencrazyExplorerTo Witchita and on to Liberal and then to I-40 west. Motorhome towing.

Thanks for that. It is rhe one around KC
The I70 Kansas Turnpike starts a few miles west of the I435 west loop in Kansas. Runs west to Topeka. Then south on I335 to Emporia then south on I35 to about the Oklahoma state line.
Were are you headed?
