Keeping Jacks Down for Storage to reduce tire flat spots

Most would probably tell you that it doesn't hurt them at all, too!
They don't keep them covered either and precisely why I believe one of ours blew out, at only 5 yrs old, shortly after we purchased it.
I've even had a dealer lie about tires being a year old, when in fact they were 10yrs old. Again, his lips were moving, so what does that tell you?
