self stick safety latch
we use a 'child safety' plastic "snap buckle" ?
one piece has a flexible strip and has the male end of the buckle
the other piece is just the receiver end
the flex strip is fasten to the side of the fridge
the receiver is on the door
mounts with 3M adhesive strip
3 yrs and no sign of wear
quick and easy to use
i bought them at OSH
they look the one in this link, but i mounted them opposite of the picture
picture has strip on door, latch on side
i put strip on side latch on front
because fridge is in cabinet and its easier to release 'buckle' with it on front of door
