Keyless Entry
I have a keyless entry on my 2007 E450 Ford motorhomem. Is this normal and others have the entry also?

The 2005 E450 Super Duty underneath our Itasca has a tach in the dash and keyless entry into the cab via a couple of key fobs that came with the motorhome.
Getting into the coach via it's door takes two different keys to unlock two different mechanical locks. There is no sign of any electric locks in the coach door.
It appears that Winnebago has some inconsistency in their various Class C configurations over the last several years.

Bought 2 remotes but, after 6 attempts. can't seem to get my 2011 E450 into programming mode. Followed instructions that came with remotes and the manual but lock don't cycle after 8 "on-offs".

Does anyone know why this doesn't work with some vehicles?
I have a 2006 with the tach and it won't enter programming mode after following instructions in the manual

Apparently there are always some E450s that don't get the memo. Ours is a 2005 E450 Super Duty chassis and does have a tach in the dash cluster. When I perform the remote programming sequence specified in the user manual, nothing happens. Eight cycles of the key within ten seconds and nothing happens. The locks do not cycle to indicate that programming mode has been entered. Nothing. Everything else performs fine in the motorhome. I guess I now have a couple of new remotes that I can use as paper weights.
