Kwikee steps
My steps--a set of 3---suddenly decided to only close about 3/4 of the way..they open fine..what should I do to coerce them to play nicely!!??

I'd have real trouble with steps only moving part way having a motor problem. The system is made to stop when it see's resistance. Stopping too soon will be a resistance (lubrication and service) problem.
The motor is a rear door window from a '90's ford taurus, I forget which side. Bring it into any autoparts store, they can match it up.
