X2 It stores in a 5x5" vinyl fence post. Pros: Lightweight, compact. Cons: Expensive, not as sturdy, no tray.

The light weight Little Giant is a 7' step and a 17' extension ladder. It fits on its side in our bay. It's very sturdy for people like me, who don't like using ladders.

We use the same one. It is compact, sturdy, sets up in seconds to any height you need, and collapses to lay flat. It is also great for accessing the roof of your coach.

This is the one we carry now as well. If you have the room, I prefer the Little Giant 16' which folds down to 4' long and is much more stable. I just don't go on the roof much any more.

X 3 and its rated for some weight, so i think mine is a type 1 a . Cons not confterble for all day use. But its easy to put in a fence tube and use zip ties or c clamps and put it on the back bumper. I use it to clean off my rear bed slide, so it gets used every trip.

The Little Giant mentioned above or a telescoping..

I have, still have in fact, a convertible ladder that was once sold by Sears. it was a 8' Step or a 14' extension as I recall (I really needed one or two more feet of extension) I"d offer it but it's getting recycled due to damage.
