Thing is guys. They want it to be a Family CG. And to be honest. Alcohol does not provide the best surroundings / example / Family atmosphere, and of course, They like the other CGs have had their fair share of drunken, loud, parties, not to mention driving golf carts while drinking. I don't want to be around a bunch of drunks, I don't want my children, and grand children around a bunch of drunks. I bet you don't either.
By having this rule. They have taken the first step in warning you to be responsible with your alcohol. Don't get falling down loud drunk.
Now do folks drink in the? CG. Of course they do. But you have to keep it under control, keep it out of site. Be adult about it. Ain't that why that invented the RED Solo Cup?
And IF you happen to get loud drunk. Well, You'll be gone, and I'm sure the MBPD will meet you just outside the gate just to check on your driving. Seen that happen at a motel once. They got kicked out for drunken behavior, and the cops met them at the street, and arrested them for DWI. The MBPD has NO problem giving you a ride to jail.
So just act like a real person, and all will be fine.
