Large pass thru in rear or MH

A potential buyer really needs to see what the available space looks like in person and don't judge by the exterior door. My 2006 Hurricane has the large storage bay across the back of the coach but it stair cases over the rear chassis frame. The door is huge but the size of the bay as represented by the door is only about 24" deep. Over the frame the available height is about 1/2 or less of the door.
The second problem is how far behind the rear axle the storage is. I used to keep all kind of stuff back there, ten feet behind the rear axle along with my entire liquid load. Chairs, grill, tool kit, 50 gallons of potable water and such. That is until I had the coach weight checked. Only 100 pounds over weight for the axle but 1000 pounds under weight against the GVWR. Camp Chef grills are a bit heavy.
