Launching a boat with a class c

Like some of the others I have not launched a boat with my Class C. But when I was looking for mine I came across one that had a receiver on the front of it.
When I asked about it the owner said that he used it to launch his boat, which he did almost weekly. After almost losing the RV on a steep and slippery ramp he installed it after seeing it on other trucks.
This way he said that he could see where the boat was going while keeping his drive Wheels on dry land and not submerging the rear of the RV, all in all a much easier and safer way to do it according to him, he seemed very happy with that set up.
Just something to think about.
