- midnightsadieExplorer IIthe hole roof could be rotten you really don,t no. you could have a pressure test done.
- MitchF150Explorer IIILikely the drip rail on that side of the rig. By the time you see it on the inside, it's probably been leaking for awhile to have soaked thru..
So, roof line and probably forward and back from where you see it in the pic..
You could try to "seal" the outside, but damage is probably already done..
Without seeing it, no way to tell for sure, but that's my initial gut feeling by just the pics.
Good luck! Mitch - LwiddisExplorer IIAn RV with known leak and unknown damage is not an RV I’d consider buying.
- tourusaExplorerThanks all the roof has just been redone and seller is saying no soft spots
- bgumExplorerAvoid like the plague. Will cost over $3000 to repair.
- johnhicksExplorerGasket under a/c
- tourusaExplorerThanks all, @john how hard to replace, have you seen this before ?
- MitchF150Explorer IIIAhh... Yes, the AC leaking could do that too.. I missed that.. Good catch johnhicks!
Still.. Depending on how long it's been leaking, could be more damage that just has not shown itself yet?
It would be a good idea to pull the AC unit and inspect further from there...
Seal is just a gasket and you'd have to remove the unit to do that anyway.
Not hard, per se... But a couple person job I'd say.
Mitch - dodge_guyExplorer IIIf they just put a roof on it and you are seeing this, avoid it. It’s one thing to have it happen after you buy it, it’s another to purchase knowing it’s currently their.
- tourusaExplorerHi this is an 05 fleetwood revolution one owner with 140k miles he’s asking 39k with newish tires and regular service, thoughts on price is it a 20k rig or a hard pass ?
