I would take leather over cloth any day. Our house has leather, our truck has leather, our car has leather, our RV has cloth. I hate that and am re-upolstering the dinette cushions with leather and covering the couch with leather. Leather seems to wears much better than cloth and it is much much easier to clean, especially dog hair and crumbs.
