Leisure freedom 1997

We have a 98 that is probably similar to yours. The black box on the wall is a remote speaker for the TV. Our headset that plugs in there did not work but we use that rear speaker. With it on, the speaker in the TV itself is muted. Someone can sit in the back, listen to that speaker with a good view of the TV, and another person can be doing something else on the reversed front seat without needing to listen to the TV.

Is it a propane or 12v-120v fridge

put a bungee cord across the frig door see if temp drops. door gasket shot.

How long did you have the refrigerator running?

The 21 year old refrigerator in our 96 Southwind takes about 1 1/2 days to get the refrigerator temp down. The freezer works great and quickly.

Did you set it to a lower temperature?

I can't help you with the earplug question.

After 30 years you may need a new fridge...BUT try a battery run RV fridge fan first. Could be an air circulation issue.
