FWIW, until retiring in 2008, I spent most of my career as a mechanic/service manager/shop owner. My take on fluid changes is simple. Fluids are the lifeblood of engines and transmissions. They are responsible for lubrication and heat removal. They break down and get contaminated over time, which makes them less able to do their job.
How much do you pay each year for insurance on your MH? Probably more than the cost of changing all your vital fluids. My bottom line = regular fluid changes are the best and cheapest insurance that you can buy.
