Have a 2000 DSDP with an Alison MD 3060 trans. Been reading the forum re. Transyd. Called Allison and spoke to a Tech. Told him with the high cost of fuel I will only be driving a few thousand miles a year. Do I really need to change to Transyd. He said that the Dextron III was ok to use. I changed the fluid and used the high cap. filters. Found Valvoline Dex III at Napa. Bob S.
