I have a 3000 series transmission with a 4 inch sump filled with TranSynd. When I have the filters changed this summer I plan on using the fluid analysis. Since the filter change results in the loss of 10 quarts and the transmission holds 29 quarts I am replacing 1/3 of the fluid. Should the oil for the analysis be taken before or after the filters are changed and the new fluid added?
