Frankly would I be on the market for luxury coach, I would not like if salesmen allow test drive to everybody who ask for it.
At least not the coach I would consider to buy.
45' will put some restrictions on your travel.
I recall that even 40' are not advised on Tioga Pass or Big Sur, although I did both.
Yes you have a point, but I need to know if I'm going to like Tiffin and that requires a test drive. Other's could say your spending, over $150k and there should be some service there.

I'd seriously look at why you believe you need a rig over 40 feet and consider compromising at least a little. A 37 foot rig will get you a lot more access than anything over 40 feet - is that 3+ feet REALLY needed?
That's a smart thing you said. I was kinda getting the feeling that a smaller top quality Coach would work better. Any 4x4 coaches out there...lol J/k

That salesman is whacky and knows little about RVs!
There are a number of roads in CA where a bus or motorhome over 40' are prohibited. Click.

Sounds like you went to Mike Thompson RV. The biggest idiots in the RV industry. No matter who the dealer was, call Tiffin and explain how you were treated.
Ed_Gee wrote:Hehe I agree. If I were a salesperson, which I was, I would do what I can to help them. You know, like what Macy's did in the old Days sending people to other stores if they didn't have the product...
Your salesman is nuts!
