Monaco completed the phase over of HR by 2002 and they are the same identical coach except for trim and finish. Different models but little difference otherwise. Every company has it's ups and downs. There is no longer a Monaco. Alliance which is the current company to own Monaco now produces a totally different rig which is very overpriced IMHO. I don't consider the original Monaco/HR a quality coach including the high end models, others will probably disagree and as always it depends...
I certainly would not discount the knowledge of anyone on these boards, however, the epic center of Monaco knowledge is on the Yahoo Group Monacoers. There are very knowledgeable owners and vendors who worked for Monaco and their depth of knowledge is extensive.
