Money maker or not, they sure seem to LOVE to write tickets. Why else write a ticket for going 57 in a 55. Or, sitting off to the side, hiding, hoping to catch car pool violators. Speed traps on the way to Las Vegas. Etc.

Whether or not it is a money maker is irrelevant. They write a ton of tickets.
