A few years back a friend *scheduled* a drive of a diesel pusher at
the Pomona RV show.
He arrived on time - but the dealership owner kept putting him off.
OK - they're busy, so he was looking around in one of the display MHs until they could get around to his *scheduled* test drive.
He overhears a couple of salesman talking just outside the door
One asks the other who the guy is inside the motor home.
Second salesman says, he isn't going to buy anything, just ignore him.
So much for them - bought a slightly used Foretravel about a week later. (elesewhere, of course).
Most MH dealerships (especially "MT") in So. CA figure the buyer must kneel and kiss the ring (or?) to be allowed to purchase whatever they think he/she should have.
Look here (So. CA), then go elsewhere - preferably out-of-state!
