Tell me how you get into a place I have been turned away from. When I was 36ft they questioned me at Pismo. I have been in spaces where it looked like there was plenty of room. For 36ft plus my jeep but they insisted I leave the jeep somewhere else. I gotta say the state parks literiture says 36ft. I like pismo st. beach and would like to go back, all the rv parks are $60.00 and up.
We have stayed at Pismo in the front section twice a year for the past five years. All of the sites are pull throughs that measure over 45 feet. I have seen 40 foot triple axle toyhaulers in there. We have never been questioned about the length of our rig. At Half Moon bay, all of the sites are 40 feet plus the overhang at the end of the site, with an extra parking pad next to the rv pad. New Brighton has many sites which can accommodate 40 foot rigs when you take into account the overhang at the rear of the campsite. Again, we have never been checked, or asked the length of our coach. Maybe I've just been lucky.
