levelers used when storing RV?

When not in use, is it best to park our Georgie Boy Pursuit using the levelers to keep the tires off the driveway or to simply allow it to sit on its tires? We use it approximately every other month. The tires are less than 1 year old if that matters. We have tire covers and often do not bother to use them. Would that be worthwhile as well? Thanks
  • You can do it either way. There's a few zillion RVs stored all over this planet on the tires, on the jacks, on both (as we do) and, as long as I've been on this and many other RV forums, I've NEVER seen proof that storing an RV on the tires or the Jacks, has any detrimental effects.

I store ours on the jacks and the tires mainly due to the fact that I like it level. It does take some of the load off the tires and the air bag system so, that's kind of a good thing to me. Some will say to put all kinds of things under the tires if they sit on concrete.

Well, that's kind of an old wives tale too. Again, there's never, EVER been any proof that storing them directly on concrete presents any danger to the tires. Again, zillions are parked on the street, concrete driveways, storage facilities, garages and more, all over the place and, the owners return to them and fire them up and take off on trips. Your choice.
