Leveling Jacks Popping and Creaking

We are currently parked in Oklahoma, we are on a nice concrete pad, but when we move around the jacks pop and creak. We have read that Lippert has approved an additive that is supposed to eliminate this problem and I am getting a quart today for about $25. I am getting Catepillar brand, the most expensive of the three approved additives. We understand this is really supposed to work, have any of you experienced this and did the additive work?
  • I have also added the Cat additive to my lippert jacks and it is almost 100% better.
  • I have PowerGear on my 2010 Bounder. I changed the fluid to Mercon V per PowerGear suggestion. The noise went away. So far so good the past two years of use.

Had that going on on my Entegra after many go arounds with Equalizer and Entegra we changed out the jacks, popping got worse. Finally added qt of Cat hyd oil additive p/n IU9891 for $65/qt and the noise stopped after 3 cycles and never came back.

Thank you mccsix, I'm getting some today and I hope I have the same results. I'll keep you informed.
