LEVELING JACKS

If in fact the brackets are for Bigfoot levelers, they sell them for self installation.

If the brackets are for another type it would be prudent to go with those.

If they are generic, I would verify the bolt pattern before buying any.

I see by your zip code that you are in SE Michigan Not far from Elkhart, IN the RV capital of the world. This business was referred to me when I was looking at a Class C without jacks/levelers. If the jacks were included on your purchase order, the dealership owes you a set, including installation, without additional charge.

I hate hearing stories like that. Sorry for your troubles, salesmen suck. And RV salesmen seem to be the worst of the worst.

I thought the mounting brackets would be brand specific, just wondering what brackets you have. That may narrow your Jack selection.

we are new to motorhomes, but calling the dealer, bigfoot leveling jacks, and a dozen more calls. no one seems to be able to tell us anything about the brackets that we have, other than we have mounts to have leveling jacks installed. so I quess we have no choice but to have big foot install them for us, instead of my husband putting them on himself.. we wanted them on when we bought the motorhome, we told the sales person, they were a priorty. so he said that he could bring one in from another location, so when he got it in, and we did our walk through, we never noticed it did not have the leveling jacks. like I said we are new to this.. once home we took our time time, going through it. and discovered it had no leveling jacks. we called the salesperson, of course they said they could not recall us wanting those, and we got this at a good price so basically be happy. now it is a nightmare trying to get them installed with out it costing a arm and a leg..

Whichever you decide to install, consider the reduced ground clearance when entering and exiting driveways , campsites etc., especially on the rears.
Install mounting hardware that offers the most ground clearance.
Some mounting hardware can be cut (trimmed down) then reinstalled .
Sometimes you just need an extra inch or two to make it without scraping the ground.
That happened to me exiting a dump station driveway, the rears bottomed out on me. :E
