Make a point to contact your local bank ( debit card), along with all your credit card issuers prior to traveling. I provide our date of departure and estimated return date.
The only problems I consistently have is fuel pumps shutting off at some arbitrary amount, $75-$100. Credit card people say the fuel stop cuts it off, the fuel stop says its the credit card issuer.
