Life span of typical roof air unit
Hello All, Can anyone pipe in with an average lifespan of a ducted roof air unit? I can't really find anything on the internet that gives any idea. - Tom

We fulltime. We bought our Phaeton new in 2005. Our rear Coleman heatpump is 12 years old, only repairs have been the addition of a hard start capacitor and a new thermostat. We are on our 4th Coleman in the front of the RV, plus a thermostat at 6 months and a control board on one of the units. When they failed fatally, it was always the compressor that locked up. Both ducted heatpump units are the same size, 15,000 Btus
