The Feds are blaming the speed of the big rigs as a crash factor. I say they should concentrate their efforts in controlling the companies that demand driver's get from A to B in a certain amount of time that forces them to go faster than necessary and going without sleep to accomplish it. Show me a driver who doesn't have two sets of log books.
One other point: If the Feds are for it, then I am against it. I'm against any national speed limits. I still remember the useless 55mph national speed limit from the 70's. No thanks.
