Lock for 2006 Coachmen Sportcoach Encore baggage compartment

I am trying to locate a replacement lock for the baggage door on my RV. The original is black, handle pulls up and outward; it operates a lock bolt on each side of the door. It appears the white plastic part inside has broken and I am told the entire lock mechanism must be replaced. Took it to RV dealer locally and they have not been able to find one.

    You only need the latch mechanism and most Rv supply stores will have them.

    Call Coachmen directly ..they have an 800 number and either they can get you one or give you their supplier to call them and get it.
