I'm back with some fixes! $30 total and maybe 10 mins of work. I used double sided 3m tape to hold door alarm pieces on.

Window alarm from walmart - $10 a pair. The alarm is set on "chime" in this video. It also has a VERY LOUD alarm setting which I will use mainly. I just didn't want to alert the neighbors to my new alarms. ;)
