It wasn't an RV, but a car. Back in 1972 I was stationed at Ft Bragg, NC and had my car in my garage one day. Got home that night to a strong smell of gasoline. Someone had broken into my garage and punched a hole in the car's gas tank. when their container was full the rest of the tank simply drained onto the garage floor - a mess to clean up and even though gas was only about $0.25 a gallon back then when you're only making $350 a month it hurts - not to mention having to get a new tank for the car...
